“Business or Pleasure” by Stephanie St. James

Callie Armstrong’s life has been all about making her father’s company, Armstrong and Sons, the best it can be. Will it be “Business or Pleasure” between Brandon and Callie, or maybe a bit of both?

Sparks fly in “Business or Pleasure” and two enemies collide. For Callie and Brandon it is lust at first sight. They burn up the sheets and the pages of this darling novel. Stephanie St. James has taken a simple trope and turned into an extraordinary story. There is so much emotion driving Callie it can easily be felt through the pages. I was aching for her and her family’s business. Brandon is a sexy businessman finally ready to do some self-assessment. Perhaps, it is time for him to do something besides work. “Business or Pleasure” has many great facets! I was able to experience many emotions. I was happy, sad, pissed and jovial all in one sitting. “Business or Pleasure” is a splendid read you won’t be able to put down once you start

“Devil’s Heart” by Jax Cassidy

Musician Flynn Donovan has a major decision before her and she has no idea what to do. What better place to help her think it through than a pub in Ireland? Flynn thought the pub and a bit of alcohol would help her figure it out but it only added another facet to her decision: Patrick Keane. Patrick and Flynn collide in a night of unforgettable passion. Could one night lead to forever or will Flynn leave this sexy Irishman in the dust?
“Devil’s Heart” is a sultry novella! Flynn and Patrick heat up the pages and make you yearn for a little Irish loving of your own. There is plenty of emotion driving these characters to a fantastic finale. I absolutely enjoyed this couple and would love to read a follow up to their story. “Devil’s Heart” is absolutely a sinfully sexy read to be devoured in one sitting.

Jen Ashton gives the reader four short erotic tales. In the first a new marketing employee shows the boss who’s really in charge in “The Boardroom.” A woman throws caution to the wind during “Happy Hour.” An employee boss relationship gets taken to the next level in “A Midnight Affair.” Lastly, a young girl has a tryst with her soon-to-be father-in-law in “Father Figure.”

I enjoyed most of Sinful Delights. I do not feel like the Jen Ashton portion fits with the other two stories in the anthology. Stephanie St. James gives the reader a passion filled love story and Jax Cassidy has written one hot erotic novella I couldn’t get enough of but the stories that Ms. Ashton deliver are four erotic tales that are just sex no real content. They give the reader a story told from four different women’s point-of-view as she is about to have a brief sexual escapade. While I have no problem with “The Boardroom” or “Happy Hour” I did not care for “A Midnight Affair” which takes place in a seedy motel room. The woman knows that entering into an affair with a married man is wrong but she can’t seem to stop herself. The last story “Father Figure” disturbs me as it features a young woman newly engaged having a quickie with her fiancé’s father while her fiancé is asleep upstairs.
