College senior Nathan Webster’s decision to deliver coffee to Griffin Trust is one that changes his life forever when he meets Charles Griffin, owner of the private holdings group. Will unstoppable attraction lead to more or fizzle out when the coffee gets cold?
Slow Burn starts with a blaze as unlikely and unexpected attraction ignites between Nathan and Griffin. Griff is an authoritative businessman with a sexy British accent. He radiates power. Nathan is young and a little immature, as noted by his twin sister’s ability to push him around. At first opposite in many ways, Nathan and Griffin are clearly made for each other in the end. This May/December romance works because of the sexual and emotional connection between them. It’s fast, but they have chemistry. The fact that they know little about each other before they get hot and heavy makes Slow Burn more of an erotic fantasy than reality. While the abrupt ending threw me a bit, as far as erotic fantasies go, this one is top notch. Slow Burn is hot, fun, and lighthearted
