Jolie Wilkins is back from another bout of time travel with a heavy heart.  She is happy to be still bonded to her beloved warlock Rand but sad that her vampire protector Sinjin has misled her.  Jolie is forced to make some hard decisions because of Sinjin’s ruse.  With the Lurkers getting closer and Bella foretelling disaster ahead, Jolie is at a loss for what to do.  Being Queen of the Underworld is not an easy job especially when there is a war coming.  Jolie is determined to do the best for her people, but what will happen when new truths come to light and Jolie doesn’t know who to trust? Will she fall prey to those that would harm her or discover a new world?

Something Witchy This Way Comes is by far my favorite so far in the Jolie Wilkins series.  So much stuff happens at such a rapid pace it’s completely enthralling and exciting.  Jolie has some very tough decisions to make this time around.  As Queen of the Underworld people are depending on her and now more than ever it is important that she makes the right decisions.  I was as torn as Jolie by the choice she is forced to make at the beginning. It was so hard but necessary.  I must say that the revelations kept on coming during Something Witchy This Way Comes.  I was literally on the edge of my seat as Jolie’s life is put in jeopardy and as she learns lots of new life-altering information. I don’t want to give it away because it is so good and I definitely cannot wait to see what happens next in Jolie’s world.  This is one series where I never ever know what is going to happen next.  And as the series goes on I’ve discovered I quite like being completely surprised by the twists and turns the story takes along the way.  So I say please hurry up Ms. Mallory, I need to know what happens next to Jolie Wilkins.
