Vivian Patterson has the most perfect boyfriend a girl could ever ask for. He’s easy on the eyes, wonderful in bed, and absolutely adores her. There’s just one little problem… He’s a spirit trapped in another realm. Magnus Abernathy once made a fatal decision that caused him to be cursed by the gods. Magnus is destined to watch his soul mate, Vivian, live in an alternate realm and watch her grow old without him and has been doing so for centuries. Will Vivian be able to find the strength and courage to break the bonds of this centuries’ old curse that holds Magnus and her from living happily ever after?

Spiritwalker by Charisma Knight has one of the sexiest male leads in a romance story that I’ve read in quite some time. From his adorable Scottish accent to his beautiful aquamarine eyes, I couldn’t help but fall in love with Magnus Abernathy. I loved the way he cared for Vivian. I felt their love as I continued to read each page of the story. I was especially ecstatic when there was an epilogue to wrap up the lives of the main characters and some of the side characters. The way the story unfolds makes it seem as if there may be a sequel in the making, and I for one cannot wait to pick it up if there is.

Spiritwalker was a wonderfully well-balanced book. The sex scenes were scorching and reading the way Magnus loved Vivian was heartwarming.  Ms. Knight seems to have a knack for creating flawed men that seem irresistible. Although Vivian was out-shadowed by Magnus, she was a wonderful character. There were times where she made decisions I didn’t agree with, but I understood the “method behind her madness.”  After reading this story, I wholeheartedly look forward to reading another one of Ms. Knight’s works.
