It finally hit Leya Greenwood that she has been so focused on her career and saving funds for a raining day that she hasn’t taken any time to enjoy life. She decides to take a long, well-deserved vacation. Her two best friends think she is crazy to board a plane with nothing but the clothes on her back, a bathing suit and her credit card to travel by herself to Bali, Indonesian. Leya isn’t looking for a holiday romance; nevertheless, that’s exactly what happens when she lays eyes on Kolby, the diving instructor.
Yearly, during the month of May, Kolby Bragdon leaves his corporate world behind and spends his entire time in Bali surfing, giving diving lessons and assisting the locals. Never would Kolby have dreamed that he would find his soul mate while vacationing in Bali. Nevertheless, that’s what happens when he meets and spends time with the beautiful, vacationing Leya only to lose her when she returns to the states. But, as luck would have it, the financial company he hired for his employees ends up sending Leya as its representative. This time Kolby is not about to allow Leya to slip through his fingers once again. Will he be able to convince Leya that they are destined to be together?
Stealing the Bride is a sweet, super-hot novella that will curl your toes. The raging attraction and awareness between Kolby and Leya refuse to be denied and it isn’t long before both are caught up in a heated love affair. The speed of the storyline flows at a smooth, enjoyable pace and the countless sexual encounters are steamy and wickedly naughty in nature. However, what I found to be the most enjoyable aspects of the plot are Kolby and Leya’s determination to live in the moment and the unwillingness to expose their true selves. When all is revealed, it makes for some explosive moments. Overall, I found Stealing the Bride to be a fascinating read.
