Now all she needs is funding. Lori has exhausted all her resources there is only one other place she can turn for the investment money to get her business started. It will require her returning to the one man to ever make her feel safe. Too bad she almost got him killed.

Since he woke up from a coma Trevor Masters has sought only one thing. Lori. She’s the woman from his dreams, the only woman to ever make him happy and he’s determined to have her once again. When she arrives on his doorstep with a business plan in hand, his answer is a definite yes. Trevor is setting the biggest plan of his life in motion. End game: make Lori Mullins his wife.

Lori’s used to being calm and controlled but Trevor knows how to push her every button. Lori isn’t ready to engage in a relationship especially with her regrets over what happened in the past; it’s a good thing Trevor is a patient man. What will happen when these two get Tangled in Tulle? Will they find their happy ending?

Tangled in Tulle oozes love and passion. There is a lot of depth and emotion packed into this novella. If you are a fan of Ms. Duncan’s Sensory Ops. series you will recognize some of the background players and the situation surrounding what happened to Lori and Trevor in the past. You do not have to have read this to follow this beautiful story but it was fun to feel that connection. I refer to Tangled in Tulle as beautiful not only because there is a lot of talk about weddings, flowers, and dresses but because it also showcases a lovely couple brimming with hope for a happy future. There are several laughs as well. Let me just say, I never thought a giant rat could be funny but my mind has been changed for the better.

I love Trevor because he has patience to deal with the part of Lori that is still healing and the guts to push her into finding the happiness that she deserves. Lori is a powerful woman who needs to learn it is okay to embrace both her strengths and weaknesses and go after what she truly wants. Together Trevor and Lori make a splendid couple. I hope to read more about them in the next Tulle and Tulips story. I also look forward to reading more about Lori’s sassy friend Misty. That one’s a firecracker!
