The pack is under siege from a vicious pack bent on taking over their territory. Alpha Chris and his Alpha mate Cassie take the initiative to hire an assassin team lead by wolf shifter Grey. They are a brutal and efficient team, yet honorable in their own way and ready to settle and call a place home.
Dove shifter Caley and his little misfit group of shifters recently joined the Wayne County pack. Caley can sew anything so the pack obliged and gave him a room with all the sewing equipment he could need. He appreciates the gesture though it’s too bad he’s having such a hard time joining the pack outside of work. Caley’s entire family was wiped out by rogue wolves and he’s still feeling anxious around the pack.
Meeting Grey is unnerving for Caley because the wolf doesn’t scare him. The chemistry between them is completely unexpected and can’t be denied. A violent attack on their compound brings them closer than ever. Grey’s presence begins to heal Caley’s fears while the wolf knows he’s home at last. If only they can stop the rogue pack before something happens that cannot be fixed or healed. The danger is real.
Feathers and fur find love in The Angry Dove and the Assassin. Caley is a conflicted, gentle shifter, leery of his new home. As for Grey, he’s lead a bleak life, trained as an assassin by a harsh master. Their chemistry works well and the plotline furthers the packs’ ongoing problems though new readers won’t have any trouble understanding this story. The Angry Dove and the Assassin adds another enjoyable layer to a fine series.
