Enough is enough. Beth Anne Williamson has had it. Her lying, cheating, no good, sorry fiancé needs to hit the road. There is just a bit of a problem. Beth Anne and he have been engaged for so long that most people in her hometown don’t really believe that she means what she says. So Beth Anne does what is least expected and what she thinks will have the biggest impact; she decides to have a one night stand…after becoming lost in the woods. And oh, what a stand it is…
Colt Waggoner has been given the job of finding the lost Beth Anne. However, with just a look, Mr. Alpha Male decides that Beth Anne’s rescue might take just a bit longer than necessary…after all, how can he resist teaching her a lesson?
This baby should come with its own warning label. Beth Anne and Colt’s love scenes are scorching enough to combust on the page and leave the reader blazing hot wanting more from these two characters. Add in a misunderstanding and these two characters actually have to work for their relationship which just makes The Care and Feeding of an Alpha Male just that much more wonderful.
The Care and Feeding of an Alpha Male is Jessica Clare’s second novel featuring Bluebonnet, TX. The first book, The Girls Guide to (Man) Hunting, should be read first just because of the back story. If this can’t happen, no worries. Readers will have no problem following this engaging book.
