Designer Jamie McIntyre has come to Italy on a working vacation to see the art and to find one of her grandfather’s law students, Stefano Leone, to give him a gift from her grandfather. But finding Stefano is becoming very difficult. Stefano is a judge closing in a very dangerous mobster. His life is full of danger and threats. So when Jamie shows up looking for him, he’s understandably cautious. Until he meets her. If she’s been sent to kill him, what a way to go. It’s lust at first sight, but will the danger in Stefano’s life keep it from becoming more?
The Italian has a beautiful, delicate woman, an intense hunk of a man, a lot of danger, and some sizzling sex all in a gorgeous Italian setting. Claire and Stefano are surprised at their attraction to each other; the situation Stefano is in is not conducive to a relationship of any kind, and Claire was looking for design ideas, not for love. The intensity of their feelings are off the charts and the danger adds even more spice to the mix. The Italian is classic Lisa Marie Rice. It has what it takes to keep me coming back for more!
