Leah Wolfe is now a federal agent for SINS – that would be the Supernatural Investigations of Non-Human Species to those who might not have knowledge of this agency. Her training is finally over and even her probation should be done soon. Unfortunately her love life is also non-existent as it fell in shambles when she started her training. Working on a new case brings Leah back into contact with both her last lovers, Joaquin Wildhorse – her ex fiancé and Ian Nightwalker, her vampire lover who used her for his own outcome.

Going from no personal life to suddenly being fought over by the two men has Leah wondering just what is going on. Can she bring herself to trust either of the men when they both betrayed her before? As the case goes on, it brings Leah and Ian closer together. Of course that is causing serious jealously with Joaquin. Things are heating up both on the case and in Leah’s love life. Leah is determined to get answers in both her case and what is behind Joaquin and Ian’s sudden realizations that they want her back in their lives. Successfully solving the case brings Leah into danger and will show her just what her heart wants. But will it be too late by the time Leah can act on it?

A federal agent is begin torn between two men who both betrayed her once – can she trust one of them enough to love them again? Leah will find the answer to this question in The Order of Chaos. I thought Leah’s life was interesting when just considering her professional life, but when I learned about her two past lovers coming back – I knew that Leah’s life was going to get even more interesting. I was not wrong. Leah was torn between the two men, but it was very obvious to me which one her heart wanted and I was happy to find out that he was the one to prove his love was true. Nope I’m not going to tell you which one because watch what both Ian and Joaquin did to gain Leah’s love again kept me flipping the pages just as much as the case Leah was attempting to solve. I loved the ending and who Leah ended up with but I’m hoping this isn’t the end of Leah’s journeys because I really want to see what happens to everyone next. The Order of Chaos is a tangled and at times erotic journey with passion and suspense vying for the reader’s attention. The Order of Chaos is a wonderful addition to any paranormal and suspense library.
