Charming confidence trickster, Will Samson, had made a promise to himself to avenge his mother, and he means to see it through to the end. He finds his way when he meets up with the lovely woman accompanying his target, Nicholas Milne. The ends justify the means, yet Will soon finds he is more involved with the means than he had anticipated.
Emily Darson isn’t exactly enamored of her fiancé, but she will do what is right to safeguard her family. She feels that she can sacrifice her independence for this MOC, but she soon finds herself turned by the charming man that calls out to her independent nature. Will Emily risk her family and herself to have a taste of what Will is offering?
The Seduction of Emily was an interesting historical read. Emily seemed very spirited and alive when she was allowed to have free reign with Will. Will was an upstanding man that meant to have it all in The Seduction of Emily. The villain was certifiably icky! I found myself rooting for that vengeance that he so rightly deserved and for Emily and Will to get their HEA.
