A powerful witch in his own right, Martin Sometimes was unable to lift the curse placed on his beloved nephew, Joey. Refusing to let Joey needlessly die Martin broke one of the enforced laws of Kindred Hallow by stealing blood from a sleeping vampire.
Three months later Martin knew it was time to pay for his death sentence crime. Recognizing the vampire who finds him as the one he stole from Martin is even more dismayed to learn that he stole from none other than the vampire prince himself, Rafael ‘Rafe’ Vandaz. Luckily for Martin the gorgeous prince has need of a live witch to help him combat a demon incursion. Looking for a way to stop demons with Rafe breathing down his neck makes Martin sweat – unfortunately the fear factor is low and the sexual tension is high. It will however take a cheeky vampire/demon hybrid called Broson Reno to get the action going, hot and heavy.
Heightened drama and a few twists play well against snarky, witty dialogue in Three Tricks, One Treat. Interesting characters who come alive on the page use their clever brains to solve a demon dilemma and a clear case of opposites attract, where their sexual chemistry causes major heated explosions. There aren’t any big surprises in the plot, yet the journey for Martin, Rafe, and Broson is deliciously fun and totally entertaining. Three Tricks, One Treat is magic.
