The motley little family of mages and magical beings which includes Lindsay, Dane, Kristan, and Cyrus are settled in Atlantic City for the moment after bringing down Dr. Moore and her maniacal experiments.  The only regret is not stopping her permanently.

Broken and barely functioning Noah Quinn, the oldest son in a powerful Canadian mage family, is sent to them to continue healing.  Lindsay skeptically accepts Cyrus’ decree to mentor the damaged mage.  He learns that Noah and his human wife Elle were in an accident which brought out the mages’ magical gift as Elle died beside him.  Noah’s guilt over Elle’s death is preventing him from fully healing.

They receive word that Dr. Moore is up to her old tricks so Cyrus sends them to rescue a young girl.  Unfortunately things don’t go as planned and everything blows up in their faces.  Forced to deal with incredible loss, the mages learn to depend more and more on each other.   Even Noah begins to accept that he’s among the living and part of something bigger than his own misery.  All that drives them is vengeance and liberating loved ones.  This quiet war is far from over.

Intense drama within an incredibly emotional plotline blazes into Trammel, the second story in the Foundations of Magic series.  Fierce and passionate characters in Trammel give the readers an edgy, pulse pounding, highly enjoyable story.  You don’t have to read the first story, but of course you’d better understand the dynamics between the characters in this richly layered original tale.  Trammel is a non- stop action packed, sexy suspense escape from reality.  This one hits the bull’s eye for entertainment.
