Recently, a wrench was thrown into her plans when her uncle captured a new subject. This new subject calls to Abby, causing feelings she’s never experienced. Abby doesn’t know why she feels connected to the prisoner but she knows she must do something to help him. Can Abby and Nick get out of her uncle’s evil lair alive?

Trusting the Magic is fast-paced thrilling romance. Nick and Abby’s connection is undeniable and irresistible. Poor Nick’s been experimented on and not at his best. Abby comes off as a timid woman but when pushed she is definitely someone you want in your corner. This is my first Shifting Magic book and I didn’t have a problem following the story but I definitely want to go back and read the first two now. I really like the characters developed by Ms. Miller.
