For Madeline Crane life has certainly changed in the last few months. First, she had the extreme pleasure of telling her bosses to shove her job – moments before they were arrested by the Feds for money laundering. Madeline was the one who discovered the evidence and went to the authorities. Then, right after that, she was blessed by winning a huge lottery. Now she just has to wait in comfort until it is her turn to testify.
Kyle Reinhart and Julian Cross are also trying to make a new life for themselves but in their case, it’s in a new world. Exiled from their world and delivered to Earth, Kyle and Julian, along with others in their position, are using their superior skills in protection and tactical planning for the security firm. Secrecy is important to them since having wings doesn’t exactly scream human!
Kyle and Julian are hired to make sure Madeline is protected and makes it to court safely. Erotic dreams involving all three make an appearance just before they meet. The guys believe it points to Madeline being the woman who can be theirs forever. Madeline is unsure what to make of the dreams and her intense attraction to both Kyle and Julian. Just as they begin to discover what could be their future together, it becomes clear that someone has put a hit out on Madeline. Time is ticking as passion runs wildly between the three of them. When the danger to Madeline is over will they have a loving future to look forward to, or is the differences between them just too wide?
Erotic dreams and danger lead to a loving passion to last a lifetime. Madeline, Kyle, and Julian find this in Twice as High. An erotic dream as a calling card certainly got my attention as it did Madeline’s. I could understand her confusion over what was going on just as I could feel the determination of Kyle and Julian to claim Madeline as theirs. I enjoyed seeing the mixture of danger combined with passion between Madeline, Kyle, and Julian. The ending truly tied the three of them together forever were my feelings as I turned the last page. Twice as High has equal elements of erotic passion and danger, combining for a satisfying afternoon’s enjoyment.
