Whether they like it or not Gabriel knows that the only chance they have of permanently stopping Hiil is to bring archdemon Ba’al back to life. The one person strong enough to wield the necessary magic is Jesse and he will need Lazarus to guide his way in the darkness. Unfortunately, Ba’al wanted revenge on Lazarus before he died and there’s no telling if they can talk the powerful archdemon out of killing him. Trading one deadly problem for another is not the answer.
