Living in South Beach affords Gabe Rosenthal the opportunity of enjoying the sun and surf when he’s not working at the family’s pack and mail store. It’s not exactly a dead end job but it’s certainly isn’t rocket science. Gabe figures since he’s in no hurry to grow up, even though he’s nearing thirty, it will do for now.
The very last thing he wants is a relationship with a family man. Fate however has other plans for Gabe when he meets Richie Hayslip and his sons during a mishap on the beach. Always good at running from responsibility in the past Gabe is finding it hard to stop seeing Richie. Maybe it is time to grow up.
Waves of Gold and Smoke seamlessly blends the lives of two very different characters into a charming romantic tale. Gabe is footloose and fancy free while Richie is happily burdened with single parenthood. Light hearted fun with a sexy moment or two, Waves of Gold and Smoke is sunny South Beach entertainment.
