Haley Tillman is depressed. She doesn’t have a very good self-image. She is constantly down on herself for not looking perfect. After her latest date stands her up Haley makes a wish. She never counted on it coming true.
Ryder is a Nephilim. He is part human and part angel. He overhears Haley’s wish and makes it his job to fulfill it! The only thing is, he never counted on getting attached to Haley. After all, that is the number one rule for Nephilim, don’t get attached to humans. He just can’t resist the beautiful Haley. He wants to prove to her exactly how wonderful she is and their attraction grows. What will happen when he leaves her? Will it destroy all the confidence it’s built within her.
Karen Kelley’s Where There’s A Will is simply put, fantastic! The attraction between Hayley and Ryder is powerful. I love the character of Hayley. Some people might think she’s frustrating but I could relate to her self-doubt. A lot of women experience body image issues and low self-confidence. What I like about Hayley is that she proves lack of confidence isn’t necessarily related to how you look, it’s all about how you feel about yourself. Hayley’s image of herself is tarnished from years of self-doubt and the people around her letting her believe it. I love the many ways Ryder forces her to see herself in a new light. I found it refreshing as well as sexy as hell. Ryder manages to build Hayley’s confidence while fulfilling her every fantasy. Where There’s A Will is an erotic must-read!!
