There, she can start over and be close to her family. Things don’t go quite as smoothly as she anticipated. She has history with the new sheriff and it seems her ex isn’t through with her yet.

Matt Dillon’s life hasn’t been right since his wife died. He has decided to leave his job as a police officer in the city and move to Summerfield to become the town’s new sheriff. The last person he ever expected to run into is the sizzling red head that awakened his body back in Bangor. He thought he left her behind along with the old memories. Now that he’s seen her, he can’t seem to let her go regardless of how much he wants to.

Matt’s not ready for a relationship but he can’t keep his hands off Maggie. The passion envelopes them every time they meet. While the two of them are trying to figure out exactly what is going on between them, Maggie has unknowingly become the prey of another. Will Maggie and Matt discover the truth of what lies between them before it’s too late? Or will they allow a sadistic man to take away their chance at happiness?

Wicked Desire is a lovely romance with an edge of danger. I loved these characters! Maggie and Matt both come with tons of baggage and it keeps getting in the way. However, neither can deny the explosive attraction between them. Maggie and Matt could set off fire alarms with the heat between them. I love that both are trying to start over and find a new set of legs to stand on. It just so happens that they need each other to stand against what’s coming for them.

Wicked Desire features many entertaining elements, passionate encounters to whet you erotic appetite and a thrilling story keep you glued to the pages. Wicked Desire also has its share of funny moments as well. Maggie’s dog Dammit was the star of most of them. I would say this is the first time a dog is my favorite secondary character, but Dammit is hysterical.

What do you get when you combine one sexy as sin Sheriff and one fiery red head? A Wicked Desire that gets your blood pumping and your heart engulfed with ardor. Tory Richards has created a story that touches you in all the right places. Wicked Desire is definitely a book that I will read again!
