After numerous years, Dawn Smith finally realizes that she has nothing in common with her long-time boyfriend. So when she discovers yet again, another one of his cheating sprees with some unknown female, Dawn finally ends their relationship. This time around, Dawn makes a vow to focus on improving herself worth instead of putting her life on the back burner for a man and what better way than to indulge in a no-strings-attached affair with her cousin’s husband’s brother, Evan Tanner.
In the wake of his disastrous marriage and bitter divorce, Evan Tanner is no longer interested in a committed relationship. Before enjoying any woman’s company, Evan always informs her on this matter. When Dawn Smith agrees to a casual love affair, Evan is overjoyed because he has always desired her from afar. But what happens when he wants to renege his oath by having a serious relationship with her? Will Evan be persuasive enough to capture Dawn’s heart?
Winning Dawn is a tale of two people who are not looking for love when their affair begins. However, no matter how hard it is fought against, love refuses to be denied. The steadfast persistence of Evan and the likewise reluctance of Dawn is highly entertaining and will have you eagerly engaged until the very end. Evan is sexy and seductive as hell; while, Dawn is a uniquely beautiful character with alluring charm. The couple’s smoking hot romance is intensely lustful and lights fire page after page. Overall, this is an enjoyable read that I am sure fans of interracial erotic romance will adore.
Winning Dawn is the sequel to Ms. King’s Friends and can be read as a standalone.
