Sebastian Fontenot is a member of Dragon One and an explosives expert. When he and the team stumble onto something, they are totally shut down by the Government. Sebastian decides to go home to his restaurant until Dragon One can operate again. But that only lasts a short amount of time when he discovers that someone has kidnapped his oldest friend. Sebastian doesn’t care who says what, he is going in to find him – with a little help from his friends of course.
Dr. Olivia Corrigan is an archeologist working on a secret Gov. project in the Artic Circle. When one of her team members and a well-loved colleague is kidnapped, Olivia knows that she is responsible – after all, she brought him into the project. Olivia has connections in high places and she is going to use them. What she doesn’t expect is to come close up and personal to Sebastian, one of the sexist men she has ever met.
Discovering they are trying to do the same thing but from different angles, Sebastian insists on teaming up with Olivia. With the danger Olivia has recently faced, she is no fool and lets Sebastian and Dragon One join her. As more facts are gathered, Sebastian learns that Olivia’s mission is a combination of history, legend and magic. Amazing as it seems, everything—Dragon One being shut down, the kidnapping, the danger to Olivia and multiple deaths—leads to an ancient legend. The only way Olivia and Sebastian are going to survive long enough to explore their erotic passion is to unravel the legend first. As things escalate, it’s all hands on deck to make sure the good guys win.
Can you ever have a second chance at love? Sebastian and Olivia discover the answer while fighting a psychotic foe in Damage Control. Olivia might admit to having some mischief at times but she is very serious about her job. Sebastian believes in fighting the good fight, now he does it with his own rules. Sebastian and Olivia were a natural couple for me, one that I wouldn’t be surprised to see next door. I was a bit surprised at the extent of passion until I read on…nope not going to tell you. I have totally fallen in love with the Dragon One series and Sebastian and Olivia’s story is an excellent addition. Damage Control is packed nonstop with danger, suspense, sexy characters and best of all—magic—a must read and keeper for sure. Unsurprisingly, it’s also a Joyfully Recommended Read.
