Mr. Berwick known fondly as Wick to his friends is the bastard son of a grand duke.  He is working as the majordomo for his brother the prince.  Wick views himself as a servant, yet everyone else sees him as a friend and the prince’s brother.  Wick is very taken with the new nursemaid and certain her story is far from the truth.  She does not act entirely like a servant, more like a lady.  He hopes she is a servant because otherwise his feelings will always go unrequited for he cannot be with someone who is above his station…or can he?

Can a lady and a servant find true love?  Or will they allow society to determine their fates?

Storming the Castle is a brilliant tale guaranteed to make you smile.  I absolutely adored Storming the Castle, the characters are royal but gracious, beautiful in body and spirit.  Philipa is an amazing heroine.  She is as independent as you can get for the time period.  I love how she takes charge when she gets to the castle.  Without anything to back her up she knows what is right and she is going to make everyone listen.  Love it!  Wick is handsome and funny.  Easy to fall in love with!  I know he thinks he is doing the right and proper thing but I wanted to shake some sense into him.

Storming the Castle is enchanting and will take you away to the place where dreams do come true.  Eloisa James has weaved an exhilarating fairy tale that will leave you bursting with laughter and joy.  Storming the Castle is a true fairy tale; one that gives you butterflies and takes your breath away it’s so magnificent.  Storming the Castle is a stunning fanciful tale full of love and laughter.  The most wonderful thing about Storming the Castle is how it makes you feel: blissful, strong, and capable of making your own fairy tale come to life.
