Cascadian Assassin Rickert D’ Angelus uses his loss to fuel his revenge plans against New Seattle.  It is Rickert’s job to protect his people by keeping the portals to Cascadia well hidden.

When the lovely Neyla is almost killed Rickert is forced to defend her.  When he learns her paranormal ability is protection he plans to use her against her own people. He kidnaps Neyla and takes her to Cascadia.  Rickert never anticipated the attraction he would feel for his enemy.

Neyla and Rickert are forced to learn some harsh truths.  What they do with those truths will determine the fate of many lives.  Will they be able to find a happy ending or will they be enemies until the bitter end?

Woohoo!!  Laurie London’s Assassin’s Touch is SEXY!! Ms. London begins her Iron Portal series in style!  Assassin’s Touch grabs the reader from page one and gives us a fierce and passionate story.  Ms. London has this unique talent of giving her readers these intense romantic moments between her couples.  It is something I have grown to love from this author.  I can always count on being swept away by the chemistry and love between the hero and heroine in a Laurie London novel.   Assassin’s Touch is no different, the magic moment as I like to call it, happens fast and it’s euphoric.  Rickert and Neyla may be natural enemies but it’s impossible to fight the fervent lust emanating from these two!  There was no doubt upon their first meeting that when these two got together it was going to be hot and it most definitely was! J

Rickert and Neyla are fantastic as a couple and so is the story.  I am fully entranced by these two worlds.  Ms. London does a wonderful job of making her words translate into visualizations for the reader.  I was mystified by Cascadia and New Seattle. I am so intrigued by the portals and the people.  The plot line keeps you on the edge of your seat aching to find out what will happen next!  I cannot wait to visit the Iron Portal series again!

Fiery action and romance make Assassin’s Touch a Winner!!  I’m excited to add it to December’s Joyfully Recommended Reads!
