There’s not a day that goes by that rocker extraordinaire Nigel Gasp doesn’t drive his personal manager Deidre Paxton crazy. After Nigel’s latest escapade however it’s essential for him to lay low rather than highlight another scandal on the cover of every magazine.  But for the next six weeks or so Deidre and her wife are going to be bonding with their brand new baby so Nigel won’t be her problem. She’s enlisted the help of her brother Jeff to babysit the crazy Brit.

As a former soldier who served three tours inAfghanistanwatching Nigel should be a piece of cake. Or perhaps not, as Jeff soon learns to his vast annoyance.  It’s not so much the antics and the childish behavior, though both annoy the heck out of Jeff, it is the very real possibility that Nigel doesn’t want to live anymore that worries Jeff the most.  When the ex-soldier calls the rocker’s bluff their relationship takes an unexpected turn neither saw coming.  Suddenly the fireworks are mutual.

A multi-layered plotline within a character driven tale that touches on the purest essence of life and love is captured in Gasp!  Between an aging rocker in denial of his mortality and an ex-military man denying the nightmares he can’t shake lays a most fascinating odd couple who somehow make magic together.  Emotional highs and lows are the icing on the cake in this unique love story.  Laughter and tears are the best recipe for an excellent story and Gasp! delivers on all counts.  I Joyfully recommend Gasp!   Heartwarming and hot.
