Brady Miller is an ex-Army, pilot-for-hire.  He has been traveling the world for years, has yet to put down roots anywhere and that suits him just fine.  His foster brothers, Adam and Dell, have a different opinion.  They would like him to settle down in Sunshine, Idaho and work with them at their Veterinary clinic.  Settling down is the last thing on his mind but he does agree to come and visit, and he receives such an unexpected welcome.

Lilah Young loves animals!  She runs the only kennel in Sunshine at anytime you can find her surrounded by a menagerie of animals.  That is exactly how Brady Miller finds Lilah after she crashes into his parked truck.  Easily distracted Lilah is a bit awe-struck by the sexy Brady and he sees her as an enigma that needs to be deciphered.

Brady makes it perfectly clear he’s not sticking around Sunshine, much to the dismay of his brothers.  The attraction between Lilah and Brady will not be denied.  Even though Brady is leaving in a month, Lilah decides to throw caution to the wind and give in to her lustful desires.  Lilah drives Brady wild; he finds himself craving this striking woman and the thought of leaving her becomes more difficult.  Brady Miller doesn’t do roots and Lilah would be one heck of a root.  What will happen when his month in Sunshine is up?  Whether he decides to stay or leave their lives will never be the same.

Wow! Animal Magnetism is a fabulous read!!  Next time I have a Jill Shalvis book to read I will not be starting it at bedtime because once I opened Animal Magnetism there was no way I was going to sleep until I finished it!  A little lost sleep was well worth it to have the opportunity to read such a great love story.  Brady and Lilah are just so perfect.  They literally crash into each other and it is a wild ride from then on.

The animals in Animal Magnetism are characters all their own.  I’m such an animal lover so I truly fell in love with all the animals and their relationships with Brady, Lilah, Adam and Dell.  Lilah takes in every abandoned animal around and has trouble letting them go when she fosters them.  I love it when she foists Twinkles on Brady.  It is adorable to watch Brady learn how to deal with Twinkles.

There are so many things that make Animal Magnetism a wonderful read.  Brady and Lilah have enough chemistry to start a fire and when their relationship heads to the bedroom they make beautiful fireworks together.  However, it is their relationship outside the bedroom that will melt your heart.  Brady and Lilah both have their insecurities that drive them, keep them from grabbing their true desires.  Watching the two of them discover what is keeping them from achieving true happiness in life is so sweet.

Anyone remember those funny fluttering butterfly feelings you get in when you’re in love for the first time; that is what I felt while I was reading Animal Magnetism.  Since I literally could not put Animal Magnetism down last night I needed a couple hours of sleep and hours later I still have this sappy smile on my face.  If you love a true romance with amazing characters that leave you wanting more go out and grab a copy of Animal Magnetism it is so worth it!
