Lacy has embarked on a new adventure in her life.  She is one of the women chosen to start a new life on Space Station One, on planet Alpha.  She is to choose two men to marry when she arrives and help them forge a new life and society on Alpha.  She is initially attracted to Cam and Phillip and after spending some time with them she quickly decides they are the men for her.

But while she has bonded quickly with Phillip, she and Cam don’t seem to be meshing.  She isn’t even sure that he likes her let alone wants her to be his wife.  When she finds out that he was asking after another woman, who arrived with her, she is devastated.  But, can she forgive him when she finds out why he has been so distant?

Will the three be able to work out their differences and survive the harsh world of Alpha?

Ms. Monroe has created an intriguing world on the Alpha planet.  I love the premise behind the need to find new worlds as well as how she has it set up to happen.  She has made a believable interaction between the characters especially as they have not been in contact before meeting upon the arrival of the women at the space station. The Ranchers Take A Wife is a wonderful futuristic story with just the right amount of erotica and personal conflict to keep all entertained.
