Roxanne Reynolds doesn’t mind stepping in for a friend in need of a vacation but when she heads to the Northwest region’s Guardian headquarters she gets more than she bargained for.  Roxy knew working for the infamously hard-assed Tristan Santiago wasn’t going to be a cake walk but she never imagined she’d be working under him instead of with him.  This is what she gets for trying to be helpful.

Tristan Santiago doesn’t like surprises or failures.  When the evil Darkbloods strike at the heart of the Guardians, Santiago is determined to do whatever necessary to find those responsible.  And if posing as fiancée to the new tracker professor is how to get it done he’s willing.  However, Santiago never counted on having actual feelings for the stubborn woman.

Roxy and Santiago maneuver their “relationship” as they try to find the enemy hidden in their midst.  Neither counted on seeing each other in such a new and brilliant light, but can Roxy and Santiago say goodbye to their pasts so they can have a future? Will they even get that chance?

Get ready to be blown away by powerful romance and action in Seduced by Blood.  I am so excited about this book I can hardly stand it.  Some series grow stale after a number of books but Ms. London breathes new life into all of her romances by bringing forth passionate romances the reader will find unforgettable.  Roxy and Santiago make the pages fly by with their witty banter and irresistible attraction.  The heat between these two is blazing and when they come together it’s like the first taste of water after being stranded in the desert…its salvation!

Roxy and Santiago both have deep emotional wounds that are in desperate need of healing.  I love how Ms. London brings these two together on so many levels.  Their relationship is not purely physical.  I like to think of them as having a soul bond; a connection so strong that one could not be whole without the other.  While this is great it definitely takes the couple a bit to get to this point for they are two of the most stubborn characters I believe I’ve ever read.  It’s funny, though; their stubbornness never got on my nerves like it has with other characters.  The actions of Roxy and Santiago seem so natural nothing feels contrived for the sake of drama or suspense.  Ms. London gives her readers a compelling suspense plot that combines wonderfully with the secondary plot going on with Roxy.

If you’ve been following the Sweetblood series prepare to have your world shaken at the beginning of this book!  I was completely caught off guard by something and then pleasantly surprised that this risk was taken.  It’s not necessary to have read all of the books to enjoy Seduced by Blood.  However, having read all of them will increase your enjoyment and ratchet up the emotional tension.

What else can I say to let you know how great this book is?  Seduced by Blood is very simply put PERFECT!  Laurie London out does herself with this masterpiece!  I am absolutely, positively Joyfully Recommending it!
