Naval Officer Bobbi Nelson detested Navy SEALS, because they were all a bunch of arrogant pricks who thought they could walk on water – funny how none of that seemed to matter the moment she met Navy SEAL Commander Grayson Calhoun.  And, when her life was threatened by a crazed manic, the only person she sought after to keep her safe was Gray.

Shara Azod has penned a spin-tingling, action filled tale with Shades of Gray.  The blend of suspense and romance proved to be an excellent mixture that kept me completely intrigued in the storyline.  I was hanging on the edge of my seat eagerly turning the pages just discover the true identity of the villain.  I must admit that Ms. Azod did a commendable job of pointing the finger at numerous characters before she finally revealed the evil scalawag.  This book also offered touching romance that just curled my toes.  Although the spark between Gray and Bobbi was immediate, I really admired how Ms. Azod didn’t rush their first sexual encounter.  Instead, there were a wonderfully written courtship and countless, very intense foreplay action.  All in all, this book pointed out that everything is not always a total black and white affair sometimes Shades of Gray can intervene.
