Kendra Kellogg is a witch who is done denying who and what she is and she’s determined never to take anymore slack at about it. Freshly out a bad marriage, Kendra has moved from California to Boston in order to be closer to and help her newly found sister discover her magic and powers. Not part of her plan was the attraction Kendra has discovered with her brother-in-law and what it might mean to her hard found independence.
Max de la Vega is the next line alpha of his jaguar jamboree. Used to getting his way with whatever he wants, Max doesn’t know what to expect from Kendra. All he knows is that both the man and the cat want Kendra in his bed and life. A lawyer by profession, Max is used to winning his cases by either strength or persuasion. But Max isn’t sure how to protect and win over Kendra, when she is just as determined to save her people as Max is with his jamboree.
The passion is quick and hot between Max and Kendra but so is the danger. Trying to figure out who is trying to kill Kendra and her sister runs directly into the conflicts the two women are having with certain members of the jamboree. Kendra knows all about prejudices and how they can harm those they are directed toward. Max and Kendra work together to answer to find answers that will save both groups. The danger is closer than either anticipated and about to strike one more time, but when you have one torked off witch and an even angrier jaguar, more than sparks are going to fly. When the next battle is finished, the battle lines have drastically changed and the question is can their love flourish in their new reality?
Take one hunky jaguar in pinstripes and one feisty and determined witch in teacher’s guise, stir well and you have one heck of a passionate adventure in Revelation. I loved Kendra’s feisty, in your face attitude and how it merged so well with Max’s alpha strengths. Their attraction changed into erotic passion and from there I could tell the only question was how fast they were going to announce it to others. I found the suspense and danger as intense as watching Max and Kendra exploring their love. The final battle had me rooting for the good guys and impressed by the strength of the battle waged. I have to admit I was sorry to turn the last page of Max and Kendra’s adventure but the ending has me hoping for more glimpses of the de la Vega’s, and of course, all the couples I have met so far. Revelation is erotic passion mixed with danger, magic, and honor that will make you not want to put the book down to end. When I’m pulled that strongly by a book from beginning to end, I just have to Joyfully Recommend it to you as a must read.
I would recommend that you read Trinity first as the plot arc continues from there.
