Bodyguard Jake Cantrell takes every job seriously but there is something about this one that sets his nerves on high alert and it’s not just the sexy woman he’s protecting.  Everything about Sage turns Jake on.  It doesn’t seem to matter that it is unprofessional to get involved with the body he’s protecting.  Her feisty attitude, brilliant mind and beautiful body drive Jake to distraction but he’s not too distracted to see the real danger surrounding her.  Jake will do whatever it takes to protect his asset and what belongs to him.  Will Jake and Sage come out of this deal unscathed?

Woohoo Kat Martin sets the pages on fire with intense fiery desire and a thrill-a-minute plot in Against The Sun!  I cannot believe this is my first glimpse into Ms. Martin’s The Raines of Wild Canyon series!  I am in LOVE!  Jake and Sage won me over big-time with their domineering personalities and sexual tension.  The attraction between these two is blistering!  Ms. Martin keeps things heated with the exceptional plot.  I was engulfed with the dynamics of this fabulous story.  The interaction between Sage, Jake and the Saudis is interesting and unique.  I found the cultural nuances curious and exciting.  I liked Sage’s battle with her views of the American woman vs. the Saudi woman’s culture.  And let’s face it Jake is just bloody HOT! I mean you know he’s buff, smart and Alpha enough to get any woman hot and bothered.  I would not be turning that bodyguard down!  Read Against The Sun this exceptional novel will give you Kat Martin fever! I can’t wait to go out and get the rest of this awesome series!  I happily Joyfully Recommend it!
