Nine days ago author Molly Alexander was kidnapped from her home and taken to a decrepit dirty place and chained to the floor.  Since then she has suffered numerous beatings from her captors and seen other girls brought and chained as well.  She doesn’t know why she was brought here or what is going to happen to her but she knows it isn’t good.

Mercenary Dare Macintosh is on a mission to save his best friend’s sister who was kidnapped while on vacation.  He has found her among human traffickers and he is going to get her back and rid the world of the scum that took her.  Dare saves his friends sister and he stumbles on another victim that looks severely out of place.  She wasn’t being held like the other girls prepped for sale.  So what did these men want with her?  It’s a mystery Dare intends to solve while protecting the beautiful woman.

Molly awakens in another strange place but somehow knows she can trust the man she’s with.  Molly can’t stand relying on someone else.  She is used to taking care of herself but she realizes that Dare knows what he’s doing and if she wants to stay a free woman she needs him.  Sparks fly as these two flee from attempted kidnappers and struggle to find out who is behind Molly’s kidnapping.

When You Dare is a sexy suspenseful romance that keeps you on the edge of your seat!  From page one When You Dare takes you on a thrilling, wild ride interspersed with sweet romantic bits that will make you melt.  Lori Foster has written a stunning action-packed novel guaranteed to become your next favorite.  Molly and Dare share a beautiful relationship.  I adore the struggle between them.  Dare wants so badly to take care of her and Molly is determined to ‘pay’ her own way.  Molly definitely does not want to rely on someone else to take care of her.  They both learn more about themselves and each other throughout the book. The way Ms. Foster dealt with her characters gave When You Dare realism.  Even through all this chaotic stuff going on, Molly and Dare brought the novel back to earth with their complicated emotions.

When You Dare is a fantastic start to a new series for Ms. Foster.  When You Dare features all the important bits: hot romance, gritty action, and a killer mystery!  I am so excited about reading the next installment of this series because I love all the characters featured in When You Dare and look forward to reading about some of them again!
