THE RETURN OF THE HIGHLANDERS: BOOK 2Four fearless warriors return to the Highlands to claim their lands and legacies. But all their trials on the battlefield can't prepare them for their greatest challenge yet: winning the hearts of four willful Scottish beauties.IRRESISTIBLE DESIREAlex MacDonald is known for his skill as a warrior, his prowess with women, and his vow to never take a wife. But now his chieftain has asked him to make the ultimate sacrifice: wed Glynis MacNeil, a lass famed throughout the Highlands for her exquisite beauty-and defiant ways.Familiar with heartbreak, Glynis refuses to fall for another handsome scoundrel. Yet when Alex's past sins force an unlikely union, Glynis gives in to temptation and becomes his wife. Will their newfound passion be strong enough to fight the enemy that threatens their home, their clan, and their very lives?

Alexander Ban MacDonald is a renowned highland warrior. He’s not only known for being a warrior. He is also known for his philandering. He may not be married yet but he doesn’t mind messing around with married women. It has gotten him thrown into a dungeon or two in his life. When his Chieftain requires him to get married for the sake of the clan Alexander is adamantly opposed. Alexander is against marriage all together, content with his life as it is. However, things get a little tricky when Alexander meets the one woman in all of Skye that is willing to go to great lengths to avoid marriage.

Glynis MacNeil has been married once and she was lucky to get out unharmed. Glynis wasn’t totally unscathed; she left the marriage with a rather sullied reputation. Now, her father is determined to marry her off once again to solidify his place among the clan before the inevitable war. She is determined to never be under the thumb of another man. Glynis is ready to make her own path in life without a man until Alexander walks into her life. They strike up a quick friendship that could be so much more but neither wants to tie the knot.

Alexander’s future is laid out before him. The path he must follow contains three women. One bringing danger, one deceit and one desire, Alex will need to figure out whom to trust with his heart and his life. As Glynis finds herself in a predicament, she calls on her friend Alex for help. Will Alex be able to help Glynis without becoming more attached to the bonny lass?

Woo hoo! The Sinner is utterly delicious. Alexander has been a randy man traipsing from bed to bed and it’s catching up with him. He has only ever seen the negatives of marriage but he is now realizing that there might be some good sides to being married as well, unfortunately it may be too late. Glynis’ first husband was a despicable lout. Her aversion to marriage is completely rational. I love that both Alex and Glynis are so opposed to marriage and yet there are so many sparks between then it’s impossible to ignore. The journey they go on together is one filled with potholes. They both made me mad at times but that is part of what I love about books. When they can strike an emotional chord in the reader it makes the experience so much sweeter. Laughter, lust, love and peril turn The Sinner into a thrilling adventure.

Bravo Margaret Mallory The Sinner is perfect! I am so in love with this story right now! One thing I love about Ms. Mallory’s writing is that it is so beautiful. Ms. Mallory has created these massively intense circumstances and thrown in one-of-a-kind romances to take the reader on a fantastic journey. Alex and Glynis are sexy, stubborn and simply divine together. The Sinner should not be missed!
