Matthew has been the perfect boyfriend for Jane.  Too perfect for her, it would seem.  Jane craves something more than romantic, vanilla bedroom action, but she isn’t sure how to tell Matthew.  Her past forays into revealing too much about herself didn’t always turn out too great, and she is reluctant to see Matthew walk away from her because of her hang-ups in the bedroom.  Jane has just about resigned herself to accepting the status quo until Matthew questions certain things.

Matthew is a stand-up guy.  He knows that when a woman says no, she means NO.  There are no ifs, ands, or buts in that statement, and he can’t cross that line.  Yet, he senses that Jane is faking things, and he wants an explanation for her behavior.  Once he embraces her proclivities, he finds that he craves it as well.  By giving her what she needs, he finds that dark part of himself crying out to be unleashed and not always satisfied with some of the games they play.  Can Matthew reign himself in, or will he lose control and the only woman that seems to be his match in everything?

Ravish Me was a steamy, erotic, deep read!  Ravish Me showed the complexities of some peoples’ psyches because of engrams that were embedded within them from the past.  I found myself eagerly turning the pages to see if Matthew could be pushed beyond endurance in Ravish Me, and if Jane would be able to put a stop to him.  I wanted to know what resided within him that called out in answer to her needs, and how that was handled as well.

I liked the way Ms. Jacks handled Matthew’s and Jane’s secret desires, and I liked that they tried to understand things about one another.  They gave of each other in Ravish Me without ever knowing what they were truly asking of the other.  Their desires never seemed to be completely selfish in Ravish Me, but seemed to be exactly what they needed in order to truly be complete.  Despite Matthew’s darkness he never truly completely gave up his true essence in Ravish Me, and that was an awesome feat for him!  I thoroughly enjoyed Matthew and Jane’s relationship in Ravish Me and the self-discovery that he found in their role play. I therefore, find that I must Joyfully Recommend Ravish Me!
