Darius (Dare) Stone can’t believe his life as guitarist for The Dark Angels, a rock band that has become a sensation worldwide.  Not only does the entire group get along really well but they also work well together.  Only one thing has him a bit concerned – his attraction to their male lead singer.  After all, Dare is straight as can be when it comes to sex.

Angel Luv is not only the lead singer of The Dark Angels, he is also one of the people who created the band in the first place.  The fame they have achieved is exactly what Angel wanted for the band.  He and the band take advantage of all the benefits that come with fame – including the adulation of their fans.  However, there is one thing that would make Angel’s life perfect – Dare.

When Angel and Dare take off to Bali for a working holiday writing songs for their next record, more than lyrics bring them closer together.  The heavenly feelings of Bali prove to be just what was needed for the simmering passion between Dare and Angel they’ve kept hidden.  Dare might be having trouble coming to terms with his feelings for Angel, but he knows that not having Angel would be worse.  Angel shows Dare not only the sights and romance of Bali but also how wonderful a relationship based on true feelings can be.  The songs are written and it’s time to get back to the band’s last night of the tour.  Just when they believed nothing could tear Dare and Angel apart, hurtful words do more than destroy love that had just begun.  Can anything end this last concert tour with a loving future for Dare and Angel, or was it really just a holiday romance?

Two men look for passion that can stand up in the spotlight of fame, as Dare and Angel prove that fame and passion can commingle in The Dark Angels: With Wings.  Bad boys and rock stars seem to be one and the same.  Both Angel and Dare were on that path as I started to discover their world.  I loved how Angel was upfront with who and what he was from the very beginning, however, I found his hidden soft side even more gripping.  There were several times I just wanted to give Dare a hug as he struggled with his feelings and what they meant.  The thing that broke them apart made me wonder if anything could bring Dare and Angel back together again.  I should have known their friends would care enough to give them that last needed nudge.  The Dark Angels: With Wings is packed full of hot passion, emotional discovery, and the best type of true friendship.  As I watched Dare and Angel find their future together, everything about the highs and lows of their journey made me want to know what would happen next.  By the time I turned the last page, I knew this was a book I would have to Joyfully Recommend as a must read for anyone who enjoys male/male romance with hot rocker boys.  I will be watching for the next book in this intriguing series and I hope I won’t have to wait too long.
