Francesca Arno has allowed her lover Ian Noble to dominate her in his bedroom. She’s confused and scared. Ian is becoming obsessed with Francesca, but Francesca is avoiding him. Has Ian lost her before he’s ever had her?
Francesca’s misinterpretation of why she allows Ian to dominate her is heartbreaking. Her path toward self-discovery is brave, bold, and beautiful, although she doesn’t see that yet. Because You Haunt Me is about Francesca’s sexual awakening, and it sets the boundaries of Ian and Francesca’s sexual relationship, which is all Ian is offering. The Parisian setting adds to the magic of Because You Haunt Me and creates a great deal of intimacy between Francesca and Ian. I’m beginning to fall for Ian, too.
