Devon Leblanc has admired a certain beauty since they trained together for Search and Rescue. It’s been easier to trade barbs with her then actually give into the attraction. But after a rescue gets dangerous Devon decides it’s time to take things more seriously, especially with Alisha.
Alisha Bailey is passionate about her Search and Rescue job with Lifeline. She will not let anything get in the way of her helping others, not her family and not a relationship with a co-worker. However, Devon is making it extremely difficult to ignore the heat that sparks between them. She knows once they give in there’s no turning back.
As Devon and Alisha give into their passions, strange accidents begin happening to the members of Lifeline. Can Devon and Alisha discover the culprit before it’s too late?
Vivian Arend’s High Passion is a Five-Star romance that gives the reader a sizzling, edge-of-your-seat adventure. I absolutely loved the first book in this series High Risk. I wasn’t sure it could be matched but Arend exceeds expectations splendidly with High Passion. Alisha and Devon’s wickedly hot attraction brought the humor to High Risk but the story much more serious in High Passion. I loved learning the background of these characters. Alisha’s history comes back to drive her crazy but I enjoy how she deals with it. She’s a tough woman whose self-confidence shines through. Devon seemed like such a cocky guy in book one but we learn just how great he is in High Passion. When these two characters dance on the pages together it is priceless. The romance is bright enough to make the reader glow with happiness.
