Lizabeth Cauldwell has retreated to her
hometown, hiding from a stalker who assaulted her. But her
vigilance has dissipated somewhat because of her former geeky
childhood friend, now police officer and total hottie, Thomas
Giancomo. Tom has volunteered to protect Liz from the
stalker, but who will protect her from Tom?
This is a love story with a little bit of
suspense thrown in. The sexual tension between Tom and Liz
practically vibrates throughout the entire story and I’m a big
fan of the whole “old friends/new lovers” spin. While I
understand the stalker was just a device to bring Liz and Tom
together, the resolution was a bit quick and anti-climatic for
me. I enjoyed Body Language, but I would have
appreciated it even more if the story provided more details. |
