Alex Valentine works at Durty Nelly’s on Doradus as a bartender. Nelly’s caters to just about every fetish there is. Sandy D’abu is in security. He hangs out at Nelly’s, keeping an eye on Alex. Alex has been through a lot. Back on Earth, his former lover, Nick Andrade, was responsible for the abuse and pain Alex suffered through. When Nick shows up at Nelly’s, Alex asks Sandy to pretend to be his boyfriend so Nick will leave him alone. Nick isn’t the only one still after Alex though, and Sandy has a few enemies too. On top of that, Alex is unwilling to get close to anyone again, but Sandy intends to help Alex with all of his troubles. 

Off World: Sanctuary is great. The storyline is great, Alex and Sandy are great and the ending is great. It’s an amazing story. There’s action, anguish and romance to boot. I fell in love with Alex and Sandy. They are amazing men. Alex is heartbreakingly sweet and Sandy is wonderful to Alex. The sexual tension is the thickest I have read in a long time; it’s delicious.  Off World: Sanctuary is an excellent story.
