Going for an after work workout has given
Jane Van Poppel’s mouth a bit too much of a workout. A
workout that may just get her fired. Or lead to the best
time she has had in her life. Her job as a graphic designer
is one she loves and may lose if she makes the wrong
decision.
Josh Anderson is Jane’s boss. He is
pleasantly surprised by her hitting on him one night late at
the company gym. He has always taken note of Jane and likes
her exactly as she is.
Can their relationship survive
commitment issues, his family and both their insecurities?
Plain Jane is an engaging work. The writing
styles of Ms. Burns and Ms. Aaron meld beautifully and they
maintain the story excellently. I enjoyed reading
Plain Jane and I could actually imagine myself in
Jane’s place.
