Junior Atkinson is the local dentist, which surprises Griff Ross, who is traveling and in need of a dentist.  Why does it surprise him?  For starters Junior is female and looks about 16.  But, when she fixes his tooth he starts to think a little differently about her.

When he overhears that she is in need of a man, he completely assumes the wrong reason.  Junior is surprised when the hunky travel author seems to be willing to help her out of the bind, but when he seems to sure and she is attracted to him she decides to let him help her out.  She is a small town girl at heart and there aren’t many good looking single men around…

A Man for the Summer is a spicy romance about a man who overhears a conversation and jumps to conclusions, only to find out they are the wrong conclusions.  I loved how Ruby Bartek portrays Junior as a free spirit with a solid career and how she decides to tackle Griff and his misunderstandings.  I also like how Ms. Bartek portrays a small town and how everyone knows a little too much about everyone else.  I was pulled in laughing from the start of the story until the end.  I also like that while Griff started out as a stiff character and Ms. Bartek loosened him up (in my opinion) by the end of the story.   I enjoyed A Man for the Summer and think you will also.
