What is your greatest desire?  That's exactly what Zev Cable is offered when he and two others catch a Leprechaun.  Zev is shocked when he wakes up with two gorgeous witches having their wicked way with him.  Thinking this could be his greatest desire, his mind soon changes when he realizes their plans are to make him change into something not human, something he never desired.  At the hands of the witches Zev realizes he's not the only one at the mercy of the witches, but there is also a little wood-sprite named Fern in their clutches.  Zev and Fern grow closer and feelings soon develop, but the witches and fate create obstacles that make falling in love very difficult.

A Wolf by Any Other Name is a great story with characters you love and some you hate.  Ms. Douglas has a great talent for weaving a tale that has you anticipating what will happen next.  I really enjoyed reading about Zev, Fern, and even the witches.  I can't wait to read another story in the Luck of the Irish series.
