As a nurse at Walter Reed Army hospital Major Annie Forbes is happy to be helping patients out of a war zone, as she still has flashbacks of her last assignment “in the sandbox”.  The last thing she expects when she heads home is that she will be confronted with scenes from a war zone, or that she will be one of two people who will escape the terrorists, due to taking the stairs not the elevator.  Now she and Capt. Mason O’Keefe seem to be the only ones who know what is going on and might have to save everyone.  Add to this fact that Mason is one of the hottest men Annie has ever seen and it might be a little hard to concentrate.

Mason is stunned by his instant and intense attraction to Annie, and that it couldn’t have come at a more inappropriate time.  But, he vows that he will see the attraction through as long as they live through the next hours.  But will they live long enough to determine if the attraction is real or just adrenaline fueled?

The action in Charming Annie started shortly after the first page and didn’t stop until the very end.  Not only do you have an alpha male soldier but you also have a woman who is tough and not afraid to fight for her life or his.  Add a little adrenaline and a dark closet or two and you might want to watch out for the sparks.  Fans of military style romances will enjoy Charming Anne.
