Sabrina Breszewski is working against
the clock. A codicil of her grandfather’s will makes it
impossible for Sabrina to meet and fall in love the normal
way. So, in an act of pure desperation, she asks an almost
stranger to marry her. And he agrees!
Jonas Spencer is divorced and quite gun
shy on relationships. However, with one look at Sabrina,
Jonas’ safe world comes to a crashing halt. When she
proposes a marriage of convenience to satisfy her
grandfather’s will, Jonas jumps at the chance to make her
his in more than name – he wants her body and soul.
The layers in which Jonas and Sabrina
wrap themselves are tough to get into. Both characters had
things happen to them in their individual pasts that made
them resilient, if hesitant to trust. They are characters
whose personalities shined on every page. Add in Jonas’
desire for a bit of D/s and my romance loving heart breathed
a sigh of relief.
Michele Zurlo’s Letting Go
is on my list of rereads! I am hoping to see more from this
new, at least to me, and talented author! |
