Sheila’s ex-fiancé, Mike, has been kidnapped in hostile territory. Sheila is called in and asked to use her special ability to contact and locate him, if possible. She is reluctant because the reason they broke up was Mike wouldn’t accept her ability. But she still cares about him and is willing to try.

I love paranormal tales. Sheila and her abilities to invade another person’s mind intrigued me…until I realized Lifeline is about Sheila putting sexual visuals in Mike’s mind to pass his time until he can be rescued. I thought this story could have been so much more if we had gotten more background with the troops movements towards rescuing Mike. Lifeline does wrap up well with a very happy ending and I did enjoy that.
