When Kaci Montgomery’s
great-grandmother dies, she’s heartbroken. She and Nana
were close, but her great-grandmother has left Kaci one last
surprise: an antique necklace and mirror that are supposed
to help Kaci find her true love. To Kaci’s amazement, when
she looks into the mirror she sees visions of a handsome
man, one who quickly becomes the star of her deepest
fantasies.
Ryne Wilkinson has been having visions
of a beautiful blonde – one that stirs his lust like no
other. To add to that oddity, each vision is followed up by
a four-inch fairy appearing to urge Ryne to find the woman.
When Ryne and Kaci finally do meet, passion ignites. But
are their feelings for one another real, or just the product
of a touch of magic?
Sex and magic pack one heck of a punch
in the erotic Mirage. Lynn LaFleur definitely
knows how to heat up the page and, to my everlasting
delight, does so frequently. Kaci and Ryne are both quite
likeable, making it easy to root for them to find their
happily ever after. The desire between them singes and,
with a bit of supernatural help, leads to love.
Mirage is a fast-paced sexy-as-hell read that I
greatly enjoyed and I look forward to reading more of Ms.
LaFleur’s work. |
