Get a flu shot or not? This thought ran through Nick Carlyle’s head over and over. Fifty percent of persons inoculated grew one to four inches, only 0.5% lost height. Nick liked his height though. At six foot he was statistically favored to go further in the business world. If he lost height, would he be able to maintain his respected authoritative position?

Nick Carlyle has a charismatic personality. He is liked and respected by his friends and colleagues. The growth issue he deals with throws his life into a downward spiral of second guessing himself, and those who surround him. Until Riley, a newer colleague in his department is able to express and show him looks are not what make him so desirable. One Shot is a story not too far out of the realm of possibility. I think we can all relate in regards to being judged for what we look like from the outside instead of what is on the inside. One Shot is a wonderful story I think all would enjoy.
