Meadow and her boyfriend have gone to
his home during school for a long weekend. Meadow has a lot
to think about this weekend concerning her lover, especially
after meeting his father.
Keefe’s attraction to the woman his son
brings home is instantaneous. He can SMELL her for God’s
sake! When he is no longer able to keep his hands to
himself, the Alpha male in him comes to the forefront and he
claims Meadow’s body and their connection to each other is
that of mates. Now all he has to do is convince Meadow that
their lives are richer with each other in them.
I wanted to like Meadow very much.
Alpha males and claiming mates is one of my favorite
storylines in the paranormal world. However, the way that
Keefe claimed Meadow will forever be etched on my mind
because I honestly was disturbed by it. Meadow’s claiming
was consensual, but how it happened definitely didn’t sit
well with me. I won’t go into the biting thing for reasons
best left unsaid.
Claiming, mating, biting, seduction.
Seduced by Silver had this and so much more.
I just wish I had enjoyed it more than I did. Gwen
Campbell’s writing style worked wonders for the plot, I just
gave up on Seduced by Silver at the mating. I
definitely won’t read this book again. Ever. |
