Finally free of the dangers of their past, BlaqJaq and Nickerson are exploring the galaxy, enjoying themselves and their new found freedom as a married couple, until Nickerson’s past comes back to haunt them.

BlaqJaq and Nickerson have survived one dangerous adventure after another together and are now happily married, but Nickerson is always looking over his shoulder. While they are exploring their new surrounding and each other, taking pleasure in the intimacy and passion their new marriage gives them, there is an undercurrent of danger encircling them. You don’t have to read the first two books in the series to follow their story because there is plenty of re-capping in Through a Midnight’s Mist, but Nickerson and BlaqJaq are complex characters and Steel Sleet and Blood in the Water are worth the read. The excitement in Through a Midnight’s Mist comes from the details of Nickerson’s past. While they could live their lives in peace at the end of Through a Midnight’s Mist, they could also have another adventure. Through a Midnight’s Mist is creative, exciting, and erotic.
