Kerry Satterfield is an FBI agent and
she’s stymied by the case she is currently working on.
However, when Kerry leaves the office that day she finds a
note on her car windshield asking her for a meeting. Now,
Kerry needs to decide if taking this dangerous meeting will be
worth the information she has been promised.
Frank Ogden is in a tough spot. He is
being forced by his step-brother, Gary, to kidnap the FBI
agent closing in on him because if he doesn’t Gary will kill
his mother. When Frank discovers that the FBI agent he needs
to kidnap is a woman from his past all of Frank’s plans
change.
Now Kerry, Frank and his partner Roy need
to work together to trap Gary and deliver him to the FBI.
Meanwhile, how to fight the attraction they feel for one
another?
Armed and Amorous is an average romantic
suspense story. All the characters felt a little one
dimensional and I felt that they didn’t act in a credible
manner. Also, their emotional attachment happens in such a
short time that it wasn’t very believable, especially when Roy
hardly talks or interacts with Kerry. The sensual scenes
between Kerry and Frank were hot, but when Roy is added to the
mix he is more of a prop than an actual participant. All three
have vulnerabilities that are implied by their actions or
comments, but you never really get to know what they are;
because of this the ending left me feeling dissatisfied.
Armed and Amorous is a read for a day you are
looking for a distraction from everyday life. |
