Be careful what you ask for, is one of
the themes that comes to mind when I think about
Lily’s War. As well as expect the unexpected. When
Eric says to not wait for him Lily is devastated but vows to
prove him wrong. She loves him too much not to wait. So
for months that is what happens, until she has an unexpected
encounter with her and Eric’s best friend Zach. Now things
have changed. How can one woman love two different men?
More importantly will Eric be able to
accept the situation? Zach and Lily know things can work
but will Eric give them a chance?
The age old story takes a twist with Lily’s War,
man says don’t wait for me while I am away at war, woman
vows he is wrong. In Lily’s War the outcome
has a bit of a twist. I was intrigued by the premise of the
story and the modern day twist with a strong woman character
loving two men. I enjoyed Kristin Daniels writing and look
forward to seeing more from her in the future. |
